World Space Week kicks off in Pakistan
World Space Week (WSW) launched on October 4 as Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) launched various space related activities across Pakistan. From Oct. 4 to Oct. 10, SUPARCO and other institutes will host a wide range of programs on Space Science and Technology. WSW is observed October 4 onwards because on the same day in 1957, Former USSR launched its first artificial satellite “Sputnik 1” into orbit.
